I think this is something really subjective to individual. I am a straight man myself but the attraction to ladyboys is something else.
When I first had a ladyboy, say maybe about 12 years ago, it was an awesome feeling. I go back to them but in moderation when I was to be a bottom. The feeling of that is amazing and something that you should try if you are comfortable with.
My partner, she also pegs me with a strap on. Maybe you can try to start with that if you are apprehensive about having a dick in your ass.
Maybe down the road I might introduce a trans to my partner to take it to the next level.
