Before the PRCs go back after their "stint" completes here, they would normally have a shopping list like notebooks, sunglass, branded bags, etc which they will catch some Roberts to buy before they go back....

For me, recently kanna my girl from DC want a video cam ..... no choice gotta give loh .... something like a parting gift as she is like a gf for sometime le

Firstly, u're off-topic. Prob better to discuss in matters of the heart forum. Secondly, why u say "no choice gotta give"? Y no choice? Didn't u already pay her for her services? Thirdly, seems like u admit being a Robert? If u really feel like she has treated u well and deserve a "golden handshake" parting gift then u shouldn't say Robert. Finally, u have to remember she is merely providing u a service - she prob treats a few other guys the same, so dun get too personal. But i know la, some of these PRC gals really know how to make u feel good (not just sexually) - this is their skill set, they know the kind of things to say to make men feel good.

Bro, PRC are like that. Even if not WL or FL, they have the mentality that you are living in land of honey and gold, so you can afford many things, while when they go back, they will be deprived. But bro... Have you been to Shanghai or Beijing? What you can get here, you can get there. Some more the prices are not all that different.

They just want to fleece as much as they can before they end their stint or tour of duty. We want to give because they were our "girlfriends" and we want them to still be our "girlfriends" when they come back.

Personally for me, I will not give them anything. What they want, they jolly well get for themselves. They can be earning more than me on a good month. With Robert No. 1 giving them cash, No.2 giving them a cam and No. 3 a laptop. Even if they get extra of something, they can still sell it cheap when they are back. And all these things can be bought at their own country. It is a business transaction. We pay, they give. They will give as long as we pay. So please do not think of them as your girlfriend and so on. Please do not say that you do not have a choice not to give. It is only whether you want to be led by the small head or not.

No need to 留恋 them because they sure won't, unless they needed help financially, roof collapse, relative hospitalized or other amazing stories. :D:p

You video cam probably ended up as a gift to someone special back home...filming bodily attractions instead of scenic spots around China

If you have paid for her services then don't have to buy anything for her.
A sheer waste of money.. years back a friend of mine bought a set of DIOR comestics that cost $600 for a PRC KTV gal who went back for long term break.
In less than 3 months in China..she called my friend to remit 10,000 元 to her. Luckily my friend didn't do so :D

Save the money on buying her the gifts ..use it on other gals more meaningful :D

Sometimes i really wonder... i mean, i know how cunning this PRCs are and i have heard and read countless of stories of ppl kenna conned by these prcs. However, wouldnt some of the gifts that they are asking for would be something similar to what a local girl would be asking for?

I just don't get comments from some here that as soon as a PRC girl ask a guy to buy, then that's it, he's a robert.. Well, fair enough comment for those that would buy without even being close to sniffing the pussy... but what if it is a so called 'gf'? I have got a prc ktv 'gf' (i put inverted comma as i know it is not serious) and all the sex and outings are all free and stuffs... She has yet to ask me to buy a single thing (exception being a MRT card as she wants to learn how to take bus to work) although we have been together for a mth.. My question is, if she's gonna ask me to buy something that is affordable within my means right now, am i still called a robert? i find this intriguing..
